It is becoming increasingly difficult for brands to differentiate themselves due to growing competition. Therefore, brand experience plays a major role, which is why all touchpoints with a brand must be consciously designed. In the service industry, the environment is an important factor in improving the customer experience. Especially in restaurants, great food alone is no longer enough to excite customers. They expect an overall experience. Therefore, the thesis revolved around finding out which possibilities interior design offers in branding, what exactly restaurant experience means and how interior design can contribute to improving it.
